Accommodation during your IDC at Pro-Tech Dive College

Choosing your accommodation during your IDC is made very easy from our communications team who will assess your individual requirements and offer the best accommodation to suit your needs. We highly recommend being as comfortable as you can possibly afford during your IDC as you will require a good nights sleep after a tiring day at sea or in the lecture theatre. Access Resort and Spa is located behind Pro-Tech’s main office with the reception a mere 20 strides away, it has three main swimming arenas and each room has access to the swimming pool via the room’s private patio. Décor is traditionally Thai with a modern twist and bathrooms have both shower and tubs for bathing after a long day in the sunshine. It’s a luxurious option for those who prefer to holiday in style and surround themselves with the ultimate in fine dining, relaxing spa treatments and tranquil settings.

Baan Suay is a modern guest house only a few doors away from the centre serving the best breakfast baguettes in town in its contemporary restaurant and bar. Rooms are tastefully decorated, air-conditioned, mini-bar fridge, hot/cold shower, laundry service, cable TV in every room, swimming pool and pool table. The bar/lounge offers a great place to get stuck into those books with a cool breeze and an iced coffee.

Warika Place is a small boutique Hotel nestled in a tropical hillside setting only 100m from Pro-Tech. Rooms are deluxe with air-conditioning, hot/cold shower, fridge and modern decor. There is a small swimming pool onsite with sun-loungers providing the perfect relaxed and quite ambience. One and two bedroom villas are available for longer-term stays and are very liveable with kitchen/dining area and balcony with sea views.

Deluxe Room 1,200 THB per night in low season (June-Sept)

Sabai Sabai Guest House is also a few doors away from the centre with a nice Thai family feel and great traditional Thai cuisine served any time of day. Rooms are comfortable and clean with modern amenities and staff are on hand for a warm Thai welcome.

Boost Guest House is a short walk away in Karon Plaza close to all the night-life action and those on a tight budget. We have rooms from budget dorm-share accommodation with fan and basic amenities through to deluxe and superior types with air-conditioning and cable TV.

Dorm Share: From 250 THB per night
Standard Fan Room: From 400 THB per night
Deluxe Fan Room: From 500 THB per night
Superior Air-Con Room: From 700 THB per night

Houses & Apartments Long-term options save you lots of money so if you are staying for longer than a month we may be able to find you an apartment or house that will give you home comforts and kitchen facilities. We always recommend that you stay in a hotel for your first few days of arrival to find your feet and help choose a longer-term accommodation once settled in.

Getting Around: Moped or motorbikes are the most common form of transport in Phuket and this will cost around 3,000 THB - 5,000 THB per month for hire while you are here. Pro-Tech will happily provide some hire options on arrival. You can also rent a basic jeep for 15,000 THB per month or a nice car for exploration from 1,000 THB per day.

All rates listed are room only basis for twin or double share rooms. Rates may change during peak seasons Christmas/New Year with added supplements. Discounts can be offered for long-term stays.
